Abstract

In the course of the study, the author was established, that the system of economic safety of the enterprise is based on the basic principles: system, automation, development, continuity, openness to interact with other systems, scalability, legitimacy and special principles: combination of publicity and confidentiality, competence, communication, planning, adaptability, timeliness and other. The theoretical approaches to the interpretation of the essence of the concept of "information management in the system of providing enterprise economic security" are improved, which is defined as a purposeful process of planning, organization, coordination of various types of information activities and their monitoring. Information management in the system of providing economic security of an enterprise is defined as the purposeful organizational influence of the subject of management on the information provision of the enterprise through interconnected planning processes, organization, motivation and controlling, which ensure the economic activity of the enterprise, for the purpose of effective movement, exchange and dissemination of information to ensure the totality of economic relations related to the main activity, by minimizing the impact on its internal and external threats and achievement of the set goals. The components of information management in modern economic conditions are as follows: management functions; management process; management structure; management mechanism; object of management; entity. The place of information in the system of ensuring the economic security of an enterprise is determined by the value of information, is an integral part of doing business and is necessary to maintain all aspects of ensuring the economic security of the enterprise, high-quality information is very important for the successful conduct of economic activity of the enterprise, information management is the obligatory manager of each structural unit of the enterprise.
