Abstract

The article describes the features of methodological approaches to the calculation of economic efficiency of enterprises, which are represented in the modern economic literature. Two main system of criterion optimization that differ fundamentally from each other, and one combined system, which combines the basic criterion of the first two systems are highlighted in the article. The article studies an approach that allows for an unambiguous measurement of the level of production efficiency and creates a statistically significant indicator system for measuring, evaluating and analyzing the cost-effectiveness of production as a whole and its individual elements. It is proposed to study the efficiency of production, together with effective use of funds, on the basis of the analysis of existing approaches.
