Abstract

A pivotal accent of the analysis of the article is made in determination of connection of preventive management at an enterprise with crisis management. There is determined the place of preventive management and its role in improving an enterprise performance. It is proven that preventive management has its own approaches as to running business and acts as a preventive measure in countering crises at an enterprise. In the article there is set a fundamental difference between preventive and anticipating management in terms of crisis management and there are indicated the business processes where these forms of crisis management can be used in order to improve financial and economic state of an enterprise in case of its worsening. The author marks the advantages of preventive and anticipating management compared to reactive crisis management, and also mentions the problems of the enterprises while introducing proactive measures for non-admitting the crisis phenomena occurrence.
