Abstract

The main issues of competition law approximation of Ukraine and the EU, the relevance of which is an objective necessity in modern conditions of European integration vector of Ukraine, considered in the article. Also, author gave a brief description of EU competition law and Ukraine. The fundamental categories of competition law, towards which, in fact, must be carried approximation were identified in the article. Author also summarized their impact on the competitiveness of enterprises. Author made a comparative description of the categories of "abuse of dominant" ("monopoly") entity's position in the market and prohibited vertical and horizontal agreements (in Ukraine - anticompetitive concerted actions), revealed common features and differences in the legal regulation of these issues. Significant approximation of competition law of Ukraine and the EU is proved.
