The importance of cost management in the process of enterprise marketing activity as the main component of increasing its profits is proven. Planning methods of marketing costs is systematic in groups: expert assessments, extrapolation, normative, matching competitors, optimization. According to the analysis of marketing costs planning methods are determine their advantages and disadvantages. The main disadvantages of the considered methods are: insufficient substantiation of the calculation of the indicators; the lack of an objective source of information (consistent with targets) for decision making and the difficulty in obtaining it; the irrationality of the selected relationships between sales and marketing costs; the absence of the specific product groups and market segments, aggregate results. It is proved that the estimated method eliminates the disadvantages of the considered methods and most fully meets the requirements of cost management system of the enterprise.
