The article deals with modern problems of development of tourism and recreation on the nature protected areas of the Danube Delta in Odessa region. We analyzed the current problems of international relations in matters of nature conservation and recreational nature in the Odessa region. Attention is drawn to the need to strengthen the exchange of international experience and joint research, including the establishment of cross boundary conservation projects. Directions implementation of the sustainable development strategy for the formation of ecological network in the region, the aim of which is to preserve the landscape and biological diversity. And also to create new objects of natural reserve fund, which will contribute to the formation of the natural links between existing natural protection of objects and such, the creation of which leads to the formation of an integrated system of territorial landscape. The conclusion is that the processes of regional integration requires the development of a set of measures including: technological innovation, the transition to sustainable transport and efficient energy and environmental management in the tourism and recreation. The possibilities of market development of ecological tourism and recommendations for the development of green tourism in the Lower Danube cross-border region.
