In this article it’s analysed the main theoretical-methodological approaches to researching of communication strategies in politics. Communication strategy in politics is a realization of long-term goals of political the entity which are oriented on change of political orientations, paradigms and values of targeted audience which involves using different communication channels, particularly mass-media, and manipulatively technologies. Working out and implementation of communication strategies is carried our on the basis of principles of pluralism, positioning, planning, flexibility, demonstrativeness, differentiation and consists of the following stages: definition of goals and tasks; direct choice of the strategy; definition of structure of communication complex; development of the budget; analysis of the results.
