Abstract

Article is devoted to the actual problem of conceptual and terminological ensuring the innovation-active behavior of subjects of managing. Concepts of innovative process, innovative development, innovative potential, and also role of innovative activity in ensuring sustainable economic development are considered. On the basis of these concepts, with the new scientific contents, definition of concept of innovative behavior of economic system which covers external and internal actions of system is presented, sets a form of its existence in environment, it is based on ability of economic system to set and realization of strategic and tactical purposes, introduction on this basis of new ideas and realization of the potential. It is shown that the intrinsic characteristic of innovative behavior of economic system is based on certain principles, such as continuous search of the innovative way of development and updating of economic system, the complex actions directed on creating favorable conditions for development of innovative processes of economic system, strengthening and increase in its potential, development of the innovative directions of increase of competitiveness by effective use of resources, improvement of the general operating conditions.
