Abstract

In the article the modern problems that have a negative impact on the functioning of the social infrastructure are defined, and the priorities of its development, which contribute to the renewal and modernization of production and organization of services in key areas of social infrastructure, improving the living conditions of the population and the growth of its wealth, are formulated. A comprehensive mechanism for the social infrastructure development, which includes the following structural elements: the purpose; principles; tasks; function; actors; facilities; priorities and instruments of social infrastructure development is proposed. Functioning of the social infrastructure development mechanism of the territory presupposes the legal, administrative, organizational, methodological, financial and personnel support. Implementation of the proposed mechanism will contribute to enhancing the effectiveness of social and economic development of the country and creation of a complex of vital goods needed to ensure the quality of labor resources formation.
