Abstract

The article analyses the modern state of international relations of the Odessa region, defines its place as a subject of international activity regarding trade and investment operations, international cargo movement. The role of the transport corridors, which cross the territory of the Odessa region have been defined. The role of cross-border cooperation in euroregion the Lower Danube, considering the activation of eurointegration at regional level, has been defined too. The analysis of international competitiveness of the Odessa region has been done with the SWOT-analysis of factors of international competitiveness ; the polygon of competitiveness has been constructed; the factors, which counteract the increase of the Odessa region's position as a subject of international activity have been defined. Directions and events, which can help to enhance region 's indexes of international competitiveness and general position have been difened.
