The article is dedicated to the problem of search and evaluation of advanced approaches for selecting employees to senior positions at the present time. The basic sources of involvment administrative personnel, depending on the goals pursued by the company were investigated. The foreign experience of effective approaches to the selection of senior managers who would complement the existing strategy, organizational culture and development vector were analyzed.
