Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of technological dependence in the context of ensuring national security based on the institutional evolutionary theory application and the development of scientific and methodological approaches for the determination of the causes of technological dependence of countries. The main aspects of the institutional evolutionary approach application for the analysis of technological dependence are considered. The trends of technological dependence of Ukraine are determined and their causes are determined based on the institutional and evolutionary approach. The reasons of the decline in demand for high-tech equipment and further de-industrialization of the country's economy are indicated. Separate examples of the evolution of technological dependence are analyzed. Elements of the organizational and economic mechanism for overcoming Ukraine's technological dependence in the context of global innovation trends are proposed. The directions of further research are determined in which it is necessary to specify the organizational and economic mechanism for managing the institutional transformation of the innovation sphere that will take into account global trends and national priorities.
