Abstract

The article examines some important aspects of the agrarian sector in the Republic of Azerbaijan. It is noted that the agrarian sector has a special significance in the economy of Azerbaijan. The development of agriculture is defined as a priority task in the long-term state program. The latter is calculated until 2030. It is noted that the state of the agricultural sector affects the interests of every citizen of the country. The quality of life and health of the population depends on the level of development of agriculture and the agrarian sector in the republic. The functioning of such branches of the economy as light, food industry, trade. As a result, the author comes to the conclusion that in recent years there have been cardinal changes in the social and sectoral content of agriculture. It is noted that as a result of the implementation of important measures, long stagnation in agriculture has been eliminated. And also a steep rise of the agricultural sector. The development of small and medium-sized enterprises in the agrarian sector not only stimulated the growth of domestic gross turnover, but also creates new jobs. Conditions are being formed to address the pressing social problems of the population.
