Instability and uncertainty of the environment, competition - set the incentive to improve the organizational and economic mechanism of enterprise management to balance economic activity. In this regard, managers are restructuring, improving the management of the enterprise to ensure its sustainable and efficient development. The essence of the concept "organizational mechanism of enterprise management" is disclosed in the article, approaches of scientists to the definition of this concept and its structural elements are analyzed. The advantages and disadvantages of existing approaches are considered and the conceptual apparatus of the organizational and economic mechanism at the industrial enterprise is proposed. Its own definition of the essence of the "organizational and economic mechanism of enterprise management" is formulated. The sequence of realization of actions of the organizational and economic mechanism of enterprise management is offered. The need to take into account the features of building an organizational management mechanism in a competitive environment due to efficiency factors for the successful injection of an enterprise into the external environment is emphasized.
