Abstract

The article deals with the economic impact of The Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Areas with the European Union within the framework of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU. The main factors of the impact of the Agreement on the Ukrainian economy (reorientation of exporters to European markets, increase of requirements and standards for Ukrainian exporters in accordance with the norms of the European Union, increase of attraction of direct foreign investments, etc.) are determined. The present results of the operation of the Agreement and the likely benefits of its functioning in the future, due to the harmonization of legislative framework (access to public procurement and the possibility to participate in the field of public procurement), are analyzed. The statistical data, which reflect the action of the DCFTA, is presented, as well as further prospects and opportunities for the development of trade cooperation, which are opened due to the functioning of the DCFTA.
