Abstract

The article outlines the main trends and opportunities for sustainable social-economic development in transition to the innovative development model. At the same time, the impact of various factors influencing social-economic development on the basis of global economic challenges has been assessed. In general, it was emphasized that there is a need for the identification of the various indicators used in the evaluation of social-economic development for the Republic of Azerbaijan. Permanent recommendations were given in the republic with indication of unused resources in all spheres of the national economy. At the end, recommendations were made based on international experience in terms of sustainable social-economic development and existing opportunities.
