The article is devoted to the research of the national and world market of fruits, the identification of opportunities and developing of further recommendations for the future progress in this industry in Ukraine. Despite the large number of scientific works about features of the agricultural market, fruit market, its inherent conditions and trends require a separate detailed analysis. The important role of a conjuncture research has been determined, which makes it possible to effectively predict development at different levels. A general definition of market conjuncture is given, a classification of factors, which have a significant impact, is indicated. The article summarizes the theoretical bases and problems of conjuncture research. Much attention is given to peculiarities of functioning of the world and domestic market of agricultural products based on the fruit market by analyzing the main economic indicators: production, consumption, export, import and price level. The main market participants are presented and the structure of their export and import is described. The main trends in the world agrarian market are formulated. The factors influencing the current state of the agricultural market in Ukraine are revealed. The potential growth of fruit production for the supply to the domestic market is noted. It is spoken in detail about problems constraining Ukraine's access to the world market and the possibility of their solution by providing qualitative changes in production, finalization and improvement of logistics in the industry. In the process of research it is revealed insufficient state support for the fruit market, which should be more effective through the creation of programs for promotion to foreign markets, the adaptation of quality standards to EU requirements, the cooperation of small producers, the development of new segments.
