Abstract

Considered are the main components of the transport system of Ukraine and the issue of efficiency of functioning of the transport system of Odesa. Identified and assessed the level of transport infrastructure, provided mismanagement transport complex. Outlined areas of transport infrastructure because of its importance in the implementation of national economic interests. However, the list of specific resources, transport is not a guarantee of successful implementation of the country's transit potential. In particular, for example, in the mid-1990s for balanced transit policy, Ukraine has lost part of the transit flows that were reoriented from Ukraine to Belarus and Baltic countries. In recent years the situation has not improved. The problems of development of a transport complex of Odesa region are exposed and directions of their solution are offered. In the article probed theoretical questions of perfection of management the system of a transport maintenance of regions of Ukraine. The row of problems of development of motor transport complex of regions is exposed. Tasks which the modern system of regional management a motor transport complex must provide are certain. The work shows that an important role in the development of transport is played by international transport corridors, because they are a complex of land and waterways with appropriate infrastructure in a definite direction, including auxiliary structures, access roads, border crossings, service points, cargo and passenger terminals, equipment for traffic management, organizational and technical measures, legislative and regulatory acts that ensure the carriage of goods and passengers at the level of response gives the requirements of the European Community. The conducted analysis of the functioning of the transport and road complex of Ukraine has shown that it represents a complex organizational and technical system, which requires new approaches to the management of its individual elements, in particular, international freight transport. The solution of these problems will allow the Ukrainian transport and road complex to become a real part of the European transport system.
