The article discusses the scientific approaches to the definition of the concept of enterprise competitiveness. A solution to the problem of forming directions for improving the competitiveness of construction enterprises has been proposed. The main strategic priorities for improving the competitiveness of construction enterprises are considered. The proposed directions of action of the management of the competitiveness of construction enterprises in the market. The main ways of increasing the competitiveness of enterprises are listed. A new set of tools for the implementation of the marketing mechanism for managing the competitiveness of construction enterprises in market conditions has been identified. Outline the main priorities for the development of productive relations of the construction enterprise as the basis for the effective management of the competitiveness of the enterprise A SWOT-analysis of the activity of the «Bastion» construction company was carried out. According to the results of the analysis of the influence of external and internal factors, the strengths and weaknesses, threats and opportunities of the construction company are identified. Further strategies for the development of the construction enterprise «Bastion» are formulated, with the aim of conducting, further, an effective economic activity and increasing its competitiveness. To develop a general strategy for improving the competitiveness of the construction enterprise «Bastion», it was proposed to determine the result of focusing on the internal factors of competitiveness: marketing activities; management management system; economic security; company reputation; financial, innovation and investment activities; staff qualifications; competitive strategy.
