Abstract
The article is devoted to the research of peculiarities of management decision making methods. According to the results of the critical analysis of the scientific literature, the most commonly used features of classification such as: by the subject of decision making, by the methods of realization and formation of the decisive optimization rule, by the quantity and quality of information available have been determined. The use of the «method of forming a decisive optimization rule» error has been proved. The advantages and disadvantages of heuristic methods, the composition of logically formalized methods have been generalized. The advantages of using the classification feature of the solution formalization method have been determined. The limitations of using existing methods and models in one functional area have been noted. Attention is paid to the lack of a systematic approach to the consideration of management decision-making methods and the complexity of mastering them. The reasons for the inappropriate use of hierarchical classification of management decision-making methods among them: a significant number, inability to distinguish features that are higher or lower than the hierarchy, specifics for belonging to different groups have been revealed. The complex of issues that the manager decides in the process of managerial decision making has been generalized. It is suggested to apply facet classification using parallel division of objects into independent classification groups. The principles of constructing facet classification and the features of methods in the process of managerial decision making by managers: the type of problem being solved; conditions of decision making; management cycle in which the decision is made; basic basis of decision making; the nature of the method used; functional sphere of activity of the enterprise; a way to formalize the solution have been substantiated.
