Abstract

The article considers the theoretical aspects of the use of competitive strategies of the telecommunications operator and identifies competitive strategies to ensure their implementation in the activities of the telecommunications operator of Ukraine. The method of system analysis was used to determine the basic concepts of competitive strategies, as well as the characteristics of the telecommunications operator. The article highlights the advantages and disadvantages of competitive strategies of the enterprise. Also, in order to see the impact of certain factors on the socio-economic development of the telecommunications operator in modern conditions, a SWOT was formed - an analysis of the operator of the leader of Ukraine, namely, "Kyivstar". The result is the successful implementation of selected competitive strategies in the activities of the telecommunications operator, which form a competitive position in the market and the further development of the mobile operator. The practical use of selected competitive strategies in the activities of the telecommunications operator will ensure a decent competitive position in the market and further positive prospects in the activities of the mobile operator Kyivstar. It should be noted that the integrated use of competitive strategies will have a positive impact on the priorities of telecommunications: improving the quality of telecommunications services, implementation of services (5G) through efficient use of spectrum in active and promising radio bands, competition in the telecommunications market and consumer rights. The competitive strategies highlighted in the article will help the operator of Kyivstar PJSC to move from the market position it has to the desired one. This is done by adapting to external forces: competition, market changes, technology development, as well as by identifying and bringing the company's resources in line with the opportunities that will open up to the telecommunications operator. The correct choice of competitive strategies will ensure the further development of the mobile operator Kyivstar, will have a positive impact on the stable development of its activities, as well as increase the competitiveness of the operator in the telecommunications market of Ukraine.
