The main tendencies of innovative development of business processes in the hospitality industry are considered in the article. The relevance of the chosen topic is determined by the need to determine the innovative factors of interaction between various business processes in a modern, constantly evolving society, the increasing importance of the hospitality industry in modern society; the urgency of the problem of rational use of resources in the framework of the innovative development of society under the influence of growing competition; insufficient research on the problem of integrated development of the management system of enterprises in the hospitality industry in the context of innovative development. These factors determined the purpose, objectives and structure of the article. The main purpose of this study is to analyze the main trends in the development and improvement of business processes in the hospitality industry and their system properties. The theoretical basis of this study is the works of scientists in the field of theory and practice of the development of the hotel industry, its business processes, its strategic planning, legislative acts and regulatory documents governing the functioning of the industry. The article used the methods of logical modeling, elements of the system and process approach, comparative analysis. The main purpose of the study is to identify, justify and solve methodological and practical issues related to the improvement of business processes under the influence of Industry 4.0 and digitalization. The most significant results are as follows: the systemic properties of innovation have been identified, allowing them to be considered as a factor influencing the socio-economic system, the main goals for the development and improvement of business processes have been disclosed; substantiated the foundations of innovative business processes in the hospitality industry. Innovations in this area of business will contribute to economic growth and improve the quality of life of the population.
