Abstract

The purpose of the article is to assess the main trends in foreign trade in agricultural products in the Odessa region and determine areas for further intensification. Method. the system-analytical method was used; comparison method - to determine the causes and degree of impact of dynamic changes and deviations; grouping method - to systematize factual data; method of tabular display of analytical data - for displaying analytical information. The main trends in the development of foreign trade in agricultural products of the Odessa region are analyzed. The dynamics of the gross regional product of Odessa region is revealed, the place of the agrarian sector in the social and economic development of the region is investigated. The commodity structure of agro-industrial production of the Odessa region, and also the basic markets of sale of production of an agro-industrial complex is defined. The dynamics of exports and imports of agricultural products of the Odessa region, the share of exports of agricultural products in foreign trade of the region, the dynamics of changes in foreign trade balance of agricultural products in the region by sections of the classification of goods of foreign economic activity. Problems that hinder the effective development of international economic policy have been identified. Priority areas in the field of further development of the country's agroindustrial complex have been identified. The directions of growth of export of agricultural products in the Odessa region at the expense of strengthening of the international trade and economic communications with the countries of the world, information and financial support of export and exporters of agricultural products are offered.. The practical importance of the study is to determine the features of foreign trade in agricultural products in the Odessa region, analysis of trends, directions of its development and place in the modern international food market.
