Abstract

The research paper discloses different approaches to the interpretation of the concepts of sustainable development and corporate social responsibility. The problem of lack of a single conceptual apparatus in the domestic scientific space is analyzed. A description of current trends in the development of the concept of corporate social responsibility and its relationship with the concept of ESG. The definitions of various authors of such concepts as "sustainable development" and "corporate social responsibility" were analyzed. The authors provide a generalized evolutionary system of the concepts of "sustainable development", "corporate social responsibility", "environmental, social, corporate governance" and describe the process of their development and relationship. The article considers the impact of the concepts of sustainable development and corporate social responsibility on the activities of companies in the context of international business.
