Abstract

The purpose of the article is to characterize the characteristics of the key areas of development of the agro-industrial market of Ukraine under the conditions of martial law and its place in the system of global food security. The grain market is one of the most important in the food security system, one of the key suppliers on the world market was Ukraine itself, whose capabilities were significantly limited due to the war. An important step towards improving the situation with the problem of hunger in the world is the formation of opportunities for the effective functioning of the world grain market. In addition, for Ukraine, the agroindustrial complex became one of the priorities in the structure of exports in 2022, overtaking the leader in 2021 - metallurgy. The agro-industrial complex, despite the war in Ukraine, is one of the most dynamic and promising in its development. The formation of a grain corridor within the framework of the grain initiative led to the improvement of Ukrainian export opportunities. The article also examines the structure of Ukraine's trading partners, which were also revised with the beginning of the war. It was determined that the European Union took the first place, which, among other things, partially provides logistical connections within the framework of the grain initiative.
