Abstract

The purpose of the article is to study the current state of the information services market in Ukraine and determine the trends of its further development. The research was conducted using statistical methods of analysis, in particular, methods of grouping, relative and average values, analysis of dynamics, index method, factor analysis. The legislative framework of Ukraine regarding the functioning of the information services market is considered, the main concepts and terms are given in accordance with the Laws of Ukraine, the division of the information services market into separate sectors is specified, and the main world trends of the information and communication technologies market are considered. An analysis of the dynamics of the number of business entities and the number of employed workers in the market of information services of Ukraine for the period 2010- 2021 was carried out, divided into two groups: enterprises and natural persons-entrepreneurs, and structural changes in the composition of these indicators were determined. The dynamics of the number of enterprises was considered according to the characteristics: large, medium, small and micro enterprises based on the indicators of the number of employed workers and the amount of income received. The performance indicators of business entities were analyzed, namely: the volume of implemented information products and services as a whole and on average per business entity and per employed employee, the amount of profit as a whole and on average per business entity, it was established trends of changes in these indicators for the period 2010-2021. The practical significance of this study appears in the statistical assessment of the effectiveness of the functioning of the information services market in Ukraine and the establishment of trends in its further development.
