Abstract

The purpose of the article is to study the current state of implementation of the corporate social responsibility concept in the development strategy of Ukrainian enterprises. The models of corporate social responsibility are studied: American, European, and Asian. The main performance indicators of the Concept for the implementation of state policy in the field of development of socially responsible business in Ukraine for the period up to 2030 are considered. The most common practices of implementing corporate social responsibility are identified: labor relations; anti-corruption practices; environmental responsibility; consumer relations; regional development. The motivating factors for implementing a corporate social responsibility strategy at Ukrainian enterprises are investigated: moral considerations, improving reputation, increasing staff loyalty, introducing innovations, increasing sales, request from local authorities, requirement of the parent company, religious motives, requirement of investors, example of competitors, compensation for damage caused by the company's products, reason to make news in the media, etc. The peculiarities of implementation of corporate social responsibility by domestic enterprises during the war are analyzed: humanitarian assistance to the population; support of medical institutions; evacuation and accommodation of the population from the combat zone; organization of shelters for the population, etc. The obstacles to the development of social responsibility of domestic enterprises are analyzed: lack of funds, companies have never thought about social responsibility, lack of incentives from the state, since it is a function of the state, not business, since it does not stimulate business development, since they were disappointed in previous attempts, since it is a waste of time and money, because it is not a genuine activity, but only a marketing ploy or "money laundering", etc. Currently, the development of domestic enterprises should consciously focus on implementing approaches to ensure sustainable development in their activities, in particular, by introducing corporate social responsibility for the speedy victory of Ukraine and its post-war recovery.
