Abstract

The essence and features of reengineering have been identified and the need for its application at the enterprises of the transport industry has been determined. The differences between the processes of reengineering and improvement are studied. A list of measures for reengineering of transport enterprises has been determined. The main goals of reengineering of business processes of transport enterprises are determined. Based on the experience of foreign and domestic enterprises, the most effective methodologies for reengineering business processes are analyzed. The use of reengineering teams as an effective means of the enterprise management system has been proposed. The main stages of reengineering of business processes at transport enterprises are described. It is argued that the main advantage of the use of reengineering in enterprises is its potential for self-improvement and development, since reengineering is always an innovative process and is able to radically increase the efficiency of managerial decision-making.
