Abstract

The authors conducted a trend analysis of logistics services in the postal communication market. The main logistics services in the postal communication market were systematized, including collection and sorting, transportation, logistics services, special handling services, storage, return processing, special services for businesses, and others. Key delivery trends were identified based on customer expectations: predictability and speed. It was argued that the main market players in the postal communication market are Nova Poshta, Ukrposhta, Intime, Delivery, Mist Express, and Autolux. A marketing survey of service recipients was conducted, involving 50 respondents who had used delivery services. The research results showed that respondents from villages and small towns considered Ukrposhta to be more convenient than other carriers, while city dwellers found Nova Poshta to be the most convenient, followed by Meest. It was established that TOV "Nova Poshta" is the clear leader in terms of service pricing. However, none of the respondents considered this carrier to be fast enough. According to the respondents, TOV "Nova Poshta" is characterized by speed, convenience, and recognizability. It was found that consumers prefer fast delivery when choosing a logistics company. In particular, dependencies were found between average monthly income and delivery speed when choosing a company. The main performance indicators of TOV "Nova Poshta" and PAT "Ukrposhta" for 2020-2021 were substantiated. In general, the development of the postal communication market occurs in the context of changes in society, technological progress, and globalization. It was established that companies that successfully adapt to market digitalization changes, providing quality and innovative services, have a great chance of success in this market. The purpose of writing this scientific article is to conduct research on logistics services in the postal communication market and disseminate information about the results of such research. The scientific novelty of the work lies in the formation of theoretical and practical aspects of research on logistics services in the postal communication market of Ukraine in modern market conditions and during the war period.
