This article demonstrates that the functioning of a company largely depends on the organization of inventory management processes. The study defines the conditions for minimizing costs in the management of production stocks; advantages and disadvantages of existing inventory management models are considered; the use of inventory management models by well-known companies is analyzed. An integrated approach to inventory management increases the flexibility and speed of the company's response to dynamic market conditions. The development of digital technologies and automation opens up new perspectives for optimizing inventory management, ensuring higher accuracy of processes. The article emphasizes the importance of adapting inventory management to modern market requirements and constantly optimizing processes, taking into account changes in technologies and management methods. It further explores how strategic planning and continuous analysis of inventory management can enhance a company's efficiency and market competitiveness. The study highlights the critical role of inventory in achieving a balance between operational efficiency and customer satisfaction, suggesting that a nuanced approach to inventory can significantly impact a company's financial health and ability to innovate. Additionally, it discusses the challenges and opportunities presented by global supply chain complexities, including risk management, sustainability, and ethical considerations in inventory practices. The conclusion points towards the need for an ongoing refinement of inventory strategies to accommodate the everevolving business landscape. This comprehensive review serves as a guide for businesses seeking to understand and improve their inventory management systems in the context of global trends and technological advancements.
