Abstract

The purpose of the article is to highlight the solution of the task of accelerated development of a smart economy in Ukraine that requires the corresponding readiness of the country's human capital. One of the important factors of this readiness is the positive perception of digitalization of working life by employees of enterprises and organizations. The purpose of the study is to assess the current state of perception of digitalization by employees of enterprises and organizations of Ukraine; identification of predictors of attitudes towards processes of digitization of labor and development of proposals and recommendations on this basis, aimed at increasing the readiness of human capital (labour resources) of Ukraine for the development of a smart economy. The information base of the research was the answer bank of 1,056 respondents to the survey "Digital economy, the impact of ICT on human capital and the formation of future competencies" to a number of questions related to their perception of the consequences of digitalization. Empirical data processing was carried out using the SPSS software package with the construction and subsequent analysis of cross-tabulation tables of respondents' answers. The conducted research made it possible to establish that the perception of digitalization of working life by employees of enterprises and organizations is not unanimous. Although for most respondents the perception of the positives of digitalization exceeds the perception of risks and threats, there is a fairly large share of people who are concerned about the negative consequences and risks for themselves as employees. There are significant differences in the perception of the consequences of the processes of digitalization of work for employees of different social status and employment fields. Representatives of the academic community and civil service perceive digitalization most negatively. The study of the influence of various factors on the respondents' perception of digitalization and subsequent statistical analysis of dependence revealed that the positive perception of the consequences of digitalization for working life is influenced by such factors as age, gender, the level of ICT use and possession of digital skills; the negative attitude is determined by the age and gender of the respondents. The proposed measures will improve the perception of digitalization, accelerate the adaptation of working life to the new realities and challenges of the smart economy. The following are recognized as priority efforts: the formation of digital skills, the increase in the intensity of the use of ICT in the process of performing professional duties. Women of the "older generation" (age group - over 56 years old) are recognized as a group of increased attention in the process of educational and explanatory work which will not only ensure their adaptation to the new realities of work but will also contribute to the growth of labor productivity innovative and civic activity.
