Abstract

Purpose. Current assets are part of the total assets of enterprises. The financial position of the enterprise depends on the efficiency of management of current assets. The analysis of current assets occupies an important place in the analysis of the financial state of the enterprise, because in the process of circulation of current assets, profit from sales is formed, in many ways it is the main source of funds that ensure the successful functioning of the enterprise. The main tasks of analytical support for the management of current assets are: liquidity analysis, analysis of the structure of assets, analysis of the efficiency of the use of assets, analysis of the profitability of current assets. Method. In order to achieve the goal, we used such methods as observation, comparison, analogy, grouping and classification, abstraction and concretization, analysis and synthesis, tabular method. The research information base is the scientific work of domestic and foreign scientists and specialists. Results. This article proposes directions and stages of analysis of the company's current assets, which allows to organize analytical work in the system of management of the company's current assets. Scientific novelty. Analysis of current assets and the development of measures for their effective management are part of the overall system for enterprises to be profitable, profitable and more effectively use their operational capabilities. However, this type of analysis cannot be carried out without taking into account the industry specifics of each business entity. Therefore, it is important to pay attention to the peculiarities of the activities of enterprises of each branch separately. Practical importance. The types of current asset management policies, described groups of current asset management methods (approaches), as well as a list of the most common tools enable the management of Ukrainian enterprises to effectively manage current assets (controlling the liquidity of the accounting balance; controlling the quality of the sales policy; controlling the quality of the credit policy; assessing the impact of elements formation of the final financial and economic result; assessment of the quality of the formation of the final financial and economic result).
