Abstract

This article delves into the core aspects of shaping business ecosystems, characterized by their manifold advantages, including broad access to opportunities, swift scalability, and a combination of flexibility and stability. The primary objective of this article is to formulate development strategies for business ecosystems within the energy industry. Throughout the writing process, various research methods were employed, encompassing the inductive-deductive approach to explore the essence and components of business ecosystems. The graphic method was utilized to visually depict the distinctive features of forming business ecosystems in the energy sector. The abstract-logical method was instrumental in summarizing the outcomes. The intricacies of constructing ecosystems in the energy domain were examined, emphasizing considerations such as the impact of regulatory shifts, exploration of energy efficiency, active collaboration, the provision of energy services, and the integration of energy and digital transformation. Multiple avenues for energy transformation were identified, spanning governmental, local, business, and consumer levels. The proposed transformation direction advocates for the enactment of an energy-efficient policy across all tiers, leveraging local resources effectively, and incrementally increasing the proportion of energy derived from renewable sources. Several development strategies for business ecosystems were delineated, notably the partnership strategy, active-offensive development strategy, development strategy, and diversification strategy. The article argues that the success of these strategies hinges on the adept coordination of interactions among ecosystem participants. Favorable partnerships, mutual trust, and innovative resource-sharing capabilities were highlighted as pivotal determinants of strategy success. Additionally, the article underscores the significance of existing agreements, including revenue-sharing arrangements, joint ventures, ownership structures, and merger and acquisition opportunities. Successful implementation of a business ecosystem strategy necessitates a focus on internal organizational indicators to ensure strategic alignment.
