Abstract
The article researches the development and current state of the dual form of higher education at the Odesa National
University of Economics. The legal basis of the dual form of obtaining higher education in Ukraine is analyzed. The "Regulations
on the training of specialists on the dual form of obtaining higher education at the Odessa National University of Economics" are
studied. The purpose and tasks of the dual form of obtaining higher education are determined. The results of the implementation
of a dual form of higher education at the Faculty of Finance and Banking under the educational program "International Banking
Business" specialty 072 "Finance, Banking, Insurance and the Stock Market" and at the Faculty of Economics and Business
Management under the educational programs "Economics, Planning" and business management", "Economics and strategy of
enterprise development" specialty 076 "Entrepreneurship and trade". The procedure for implementing a dual form of higher
education through the use of integrated, block and other models has been studied. An analysis of the process of implementation in
practice of the dual form of obtaining higher education is carried out. The experience of implementing a dual form of obtaining
higher education through the use of training according to an individual schedule has been studied. The consequences of using a
dual form of higher education are analyzed. The consequences of using a dual form of higher education are analyzed. Advantages
and disadvantages for employers and students of higher education are revealed. The problems of implementing the dual form of
obtaining higher education in higher education institutions of Ukraine are analyzed. Ways of further development of the dual form
of obtaining higher education at the Odesa National University of Economics are proposed.
