Abstract

The aim of the article is to highlight the strategic guidelines for the development of transport and infrastructure enterprises. The research methodology is aimed at analyzing the transport infrastructure of Ukraine and comparing it with European standards. The problems and tasks of the transport industry of Ukraine are analyzed. In accordance with the National Transport Strategy of Ukraine for the period up to 2030, the priorities for the strategic development of transport and infrastructure enterprises are determined. The problems associated with the incompatibility of track standards between Ukraine and the European Union, such as the difference in track width, which complicates direct rail transportation and transit opportunities, are described. The need for the introduction of new standards is highlighted, which provides not only for the replacement of bogies and rearrangement of tracks, but also for the complete replacement of wagons and locomotives, as well as the modernization of port infrastructure. Ukrainian ports lack the depth of berths to receive large ocean-going vessels, which limits their competitiveness and forces them to use smaller vessels or reload them in other ports. The need for significant investments in the modernization of the railway, sea and road infrastructure of Ukraine is highlighted. The practical significance of the results is represented in the adaptation of the Ukrainian transport infrastructure to European standards, which will contribute to economic growth. Improving the quality of roads, railways and seaports will reduce transport costs, increase the efficiency of logistics processes and make Ukrainian goods more competitive in the international market. By modernizing its transport system, Ukraine will be able to integrate into European transport networks more easily and quickly. This will make it possible to improve ties with the countries of the European Union, promote the development of international tourism, trade and investment.
