Abstract

The article examines the theoretical and methodical foundations of remote banking services. It is noted that remote banking is a set of technical, technological and organizational and legal methods and techniques of providing services by banks to their clients based on orders that the client transmits at a distance (remotely), that is, without visiting the bank. It was determined that the main characteristics of remote banking services are: efficiency, convenience, accessibility, variety and scale. The functions of a modern mobile bank application are highlighted: opening an account online, processing a loan online, opening a term deposit (deposit) online, making payments, receiving statements and account statements, online currency exchange, etc. It is noted that Internet banking or web banking is a type of remote banking service for customers, which provides access to accounts and account operations at any time and from any computer via the Internet. Based on the results of the study, it is proposed to introduce financial consulting services in the process of remote banking services in order to develop and improve the quality of financial services. This will create the following advantages: Provide a positive experience of cooperation with banks. Financial consulting can help clients understand their financial needs, develop an individualized financial management plan, and receive investment and conservation advice. The financial consulting service will create an opportunity for banks to actively communicate with clients, finding out their needs and providing specific recommendations. This will contribute to the improvement of communication and mutual understanding between the parties, which will help to avoid possible misunderstandings and conflicts. It will help increase the financial literacy of the population. This can be especially important in an environment where a large part of the population has limited access to financial services and lacks knowledge about managing their finances.
