Formulation of the problem. The introduction of martial law in Ukraine had a significant impact on the country's economic situation and business activity, particularly the trade sector. The research carried out in this article is aimed at an in-depth analysis of the consequences of the war, the identification of key problems faced by enterprises, and the development of strategies to overcome them. According to experts, as a result of the full-scale invasion, the Ukrainian economy suffered huge losses, which were manifested in the destruction or damage of a significant number of enterprises of various scales and critical damage to the infrastructure that contributed to their functioning. Small and medium-sized businesses also suffered heavy losses, although larger enterprises proved more resilient, but they too faced serious challenges. The survey among entrepreneurs showed that the main problems for business remain low purchasing power of the population, limited access to financing and credits, as well as a shortage of qualified personnel. Based on the analysis of the political and economic situation in the country, recommendations aimed at overcoming these problems were developed, namely: development of alternative logistics routes, obtaining financial assistance from the government and international organizations, adaptation of business models to changed market conditions, implementation of security and insurance measures , as well as the use of digital technologies to optimize business processes.
