Abstract

Modern trade enterprises play a key role in the development of the Ukrainian economy, meeting the needs of the population in goods and services, as well as contributing to the formation of gross domestic product. Due to military aggression on the territory of Ukraine and changes in economic conditions, in particular the impact of globalization, unstable economic situation, Ukrainian trade enterprises face a number of challenges. The purpose of the article is to generalize the possibilities of using tools based on different approaches to managing commercial enterprises at the current stage. Method. To achieve the purpose, methods of analysis, induction, comparison, and classification were used. The existing tools of different approaches to managing trade enterprises are considered, their advantages and disadvantages are highlighted when used by trade enterprises in modern conditions. It was found that using of a mixed approach to the management of trade enterprises in Ukraine, which is based on the using of the most effective methods and tools of functional, situational, systemic, process and innovative approaches, is relevant. The main directions for improving the management of trade enterprises in Ukraine at the present stage are proposed: accelerating the implementation of digital technologies in the management systems of trade enterprises; improving the skills of personnel in the specifics of managing trade enterprises; developing and implementing development strategies. The practical significance of the study lies in providing recommendations for using tools for managing trade enterprises in Ukraine at the present stage.
