Abstract

The article examines the strategic guidelines for the development of the Ukrainian grain market in the context of current socio-economic challenges. The purpose of the study is to analyze the current state of the grain market, identify the main risks of its functioning and formulate prospects for the development of the industry. The methodological basis of the study is a systematic approach, structural and functional analysis, comparative analysis of statistical data, and methods of logical generalization. The market structure, main participants, pricing mechanisms and the impact of infrastructure factors are analyzed. Particular attention is paid to trends in the production, processing and sale of grain crops. The key risks that hinder the development of the market are identified and strategic directions for improving the competitiveness of the industry are outlined. The study also takes into account the impact of the foreign policy situation, military actions, logistical constraints, and changes in global trade chains. The role of state regulation, in particular export policy, customs procedures and mechanisms to support farmers, is also considered. It is shown that in order to ensure the sustainable development of the grain sector, it is necessary to modernize the infrastructure, introduce innovative technologies and strengthen the position of Ukrainian grain on international markets. The author proposes a set of strategic measures aimed at improving production efficiency, diversifying export destinations, expanding the processing base and forming a transparent model of interaction between market participants. Particular attention is paid to the issue of food security, since the stable functioning of the grain market is a key factor in meeting the country's domestic needs. The importance of attracting investments, international cooperation and adaptation to the conditions of European integration as drivers of the agricultural sector development is emphasized.
