Abstract

The unilateral development of the Azerbaijani economy based on oil caused essential lagging of regions. On the other hand, 47% of the general population of the country and 48,5% of an economically active population live in the village. These two factors actualize a problem of rural employment in the country. Because 68,5% of rural employment are the share of agrarian sector, in article the factors interfering development of alternative employment and a way of their overcoming are researched. The actions for ensuring rural employment offered in article are oriented: on the one hand, to the solution of social problems, on the other hand, their implementation will make the significant contribution on common economic development of the country.
