Abstract

The article examines some issues of the consistent policy of the government of the Republic of Azerbaijan to ensure the employment population. It is noted that the problems of optimal and profitable employment of the population of the country, the issues of studying the labor market and unemployment occupy one of the key places in the social and economic policy of Azerbaijan. It is emphasized that in recent years a lot of work has been done in the country aimed at the formation of an effective system of employment management and regulation, long-term state strategies for ensuring stable and optimal employment of the population have been adopted. The author stresses the importance of the measures taken by the government to ensure decent and profitable employment in the country, to note the active employment policy, the development of the sphere of influence of their self-employment. Gratuitous assets provided to enterprising citizens from among the unemployed and the poorest parts of the population, are increasingly stimulating other categories of the population.
