Abstract

The article considers the essence of the concepts of "working capital", "current assets", "current assets" and identifies the main stages by which working capital is managed. The subject of research - modern theoretical and methodological problems of working capital management. The purpose of the article is to analyze and study the methods of working capital management of the enterprise in order to improve its business results. Method. The main methods that were used during the study: structurallogical (in the construction of logic and structure of work); general philosophical (for the logical presentation of their own views and opinions); comparative (in the process of considering different views of scientists and scholars on the essence of the concepts of "working capital"); method of detailing and synthesis (to study the subject and the relationship of its components). Results. The economic essence of the concepts of working capital and working capital management is revealed; The optimization mechanism is analyzed, the program of management of separate structural elements of the working capital of the enterprise is defined. Ways to increase the efficiency of working capital of the entity in terms of individual stages of the management process. Practical significance. The scientific results obtained as a result of the study are not only theoretical and methodological, but also applied to solve specific practical problems in industrial enterprises for working capital management.
