Vyacheslav Sokolov initiator of the "Science Bulletin"

Vyacheslav studied at the Odessa Polytechnic Institute graduate studies in the department of chemical production automation . In 1975 he defended his thesis on the specialty 07.00.01 - "History of Ukraine". In 1988 he defended his doctoral thesis on the specialty 07.00.01 - "History of Ukraine" and in 1989 he was awarded the title of professor. Has more than 150 scientific publications (monographs, articles, brochures, etc.). He took an active part in scientific conferences of different levels - from international (Bulgaria, Italy, the U.S., Russia, France, Belarus) in national and regional. Often, an organizer of scientific events - conferences, round tables , debates.

Has turned out a large scientific school. On his initiative ONEU 1998 post-graduate courses in specialty 23.00.02 (political science). Under his guidance, protection and received diplomas 13 candidates and one Doctor of Political Sciences.

For several years he was a member of the Scientific Council on thesis defending Odessa State University of I.I. Mechnikova ( two in the boards ).

Since 1971 regularly appeared in the periodical press of Odessa, Odessa region and country; on radio and television.

From 1997 to 1999 - Editor in chief scientific publication "Science Bulletin" Odessa Polytechnic University. From December 2001 to 2013 - the chief editor of the scientific publication "Science Bulletin" Odessa National Economic University.
