Requirements for the structure of the scientific article:

TITLE, ABSTRACT, KEYWORDS

The title of the scientific article should briefly reflect the nature of the work performed and the findings obtained. Too common titles should be avoided, referring to the broad scope of the research.

The number of words in the title is no more than 10.

The title of the scientific article should include the name of the object of the research, the nature of the action and the expected direction of the effect (“modernization”, “improvement”, “research”, “comparison”, “development …with the aim”, etc.).

The abstract should be in the range of 1800-2000 characters (250-300 words in common terminology). By its structure, the abstract should follow the content of the scientific article, i.e briefly substantiate the relevance of the selected topic, reveal the main actions in the research process and the findings obtained by the author.

Required abstract elements are:

Object of the research (“The object of the research is the processes of ...”, “One of the main problems of the… is ...”, etc.).

Methodology (“The information base of the research consists of data from ...”, “The official statistical base is ...”, “During the research, methods of… were used …”, etc.).

Findings (“Based on empirical generalizations, the article determines that…”, “This is achieved through…”, “The implementation of a system of measures in the spheres of …”, “Compared to similar known ones… it provides advantages, such as…”, etc.).

Originality (“The scientific article proves a special role ... that is determined by ...”, etc.).

Practical and (or) theoretical value (“Practical value is in the fact that...”, “The findings obtained in the future will be used to ...”, etc.).

Keywords (7-10 words or phrases consisting of terms that define the subject area of the scientific article).

Title, abstract and keywords should not contain abbreviations that are only understood in the context of the scientific article.

TEXT OF THE SCIENTIFIC ARTICLE

Formulation of the problem in general.

In this section, a non-fluent reader should be provided with background information to facilitate understanding of the relevance of the research.

It is necessary to disclose the nature and state of the scientific problem in its general form, its practical and (or) theoretical value, its relation to important scientific or practical objectives; justify the relevance of the research and its importance for the further development of the relevant field of the economy (theory or practice).

The object of the research and analysis of existing solutions to problems.

The section should contain a detailed description of the object under the research, the characteristic disadvantages inherent in the object under the existing conditions of operation and the analysis of existing ways of overcoming it.

It is necessary to briefly, critically and in some logical sequence analyze the main points of the recent research and publications, which are directly related to the problem raised, the approaches to its solution, which the author relies on.

Example:

“The object of the research is the processes of… In order to formulate recommendations for ensuring … and developing measures to… problems of managing the ... are investigated [ ]. Special attention in these works is paid to the problems of… Thus, according to the authors of [ ],… However, let`s note that the implementation of the … will not substantially ensure ... [ ]. Therefore, it is necessary to overcome the problems of the development of…by ensuring the…” and so on.

Determination of previously unresolved aspects of a common problem.

The section should express the basic idea of the publication, which should be significantly different from existing ideas about the problem, supplement or deepen the already known approaches.

Formulation of the aim of the scientific article and objectives of the research. In the section on the basis of identified shortcomings of the object, analysis of recent research and publications, it is necessary to formulate the aim of the scientific article and the tasks by which this aim can be achieved. At the same time, the tasks should not repeat the aim (the aim is what must be achieved, and the task is one of the stages of achieving it)

Example:

“The aim of the research is… Solving the aim contributes to the following tasks:

  1. To investigate the trends and changes...
  2. To conduct an assessment...
  3. To determine the interaction...
  4. To formulate recommendations ... etc.“

Presentation of the main research material with full justification of scientific findings obtained.

In the section, the author of the scientific article should provide the findings of the research using sufficient to understand the graphic and tabular material. It is necessary to clearly define the author`s contribution and explain the findings of the research (in quantitative or qualitative terms).

Conclusions and prospects for further development in this direction.

The section formulates a general conclusion as a result of the analysis of the main aspects of the problem and prospects for its solution.

The conclusions should be in the form of a synthesis of scientific information accumulated in the main part of the scientific article, that is, a consistent, clear, logical statement of the author’s personal findings in accordance with the objectives of the most important research findings, which contain originality and have practical and (or) theoretical value.

It is necessary to reveal the following provisions: concretization and generalization of knowledge about the problem, the impact of the problem on certain processes, prospects of manifestation and solution of the problem in the future, trends of its development, the possibility of applying new approaches to solving this problem in other fields of knowledge, determining the prospects for further research problems.

Example:

  1. It has been proved that the measure of the…, whose main goals are…, include:

    – ensuring the economic activation of the stimulating role of...:

    • creating favorable conditions for development of...
  2. It is shown that the main objective of...measures is...
  3. It is determined that...
  4. Proceeding from the above, it is advisable to establish (“develop”, “improve”, “prepare recommendations for”... etc.). The main tasks for implementation of which involves representatives...are:

    – coordination with the legislative and executive authorities of...

Prospects for further development in this direction...

Literature

At the end of the scientific article, the literature is presented in two forms: Literature and References (list for international databases).

“Literature” is issued in accordance with DSTU 8302: 2015 “Information and documentation. Bibliographic reference. General Terms and Conditions of Assembly”.

The literature should contain 10–20 sources with the date of publication not older than 5 years and the number of references to scientific publications of the author of the scientific article (self-references) up to 20%.

The number of foreign sources of the scientific periodicals should be at least 50% of all sources used.

Links to references are arranged in the APA Style (Reference Citations Romanesque alphabet).

The presentation of a transliterated list of sources (“References”) in the Romanesque alphabet (Latin) should be maximally acceptable for international databases and must be carried out in compliance with requirements for transliteration of Cyrillic texts.
